The Ultimate BeeBee Cream?
At a recent event I met Heaven Skincare which is a luxury skincare brand using bee products. They were really lovely to chat to and offered me a bottle of Silk Skin BeeBee cream in English Rose which is their ultimate tinted moisturiser. They tried a bit on my skin there and it was a pretty good match for my skin. I find tinted moisturisers really handy in the summer because sometimes it’s just too hot for a full face of make up but you still want to give yourself a bit of colour and coverage if you have problem skin. I really like this because it’s full of other skincare benefits too and the packaging is beautiful.
The sleek bottle twists up to reveal a pump and a couple of pumps, I found, gives good coverage. It’s advised to apply with fingers on freshly cleansed skin and it’s safe to use around the eyes. One thing I love about this product is that it’s makeup you don’t have to worry about taking off after a long day and is SPF 20 which is great and gives you a bit of colour and protection in the sunshine.
Other features of the product include anti-aging, helps to hydrate fine lines and wrinkles and is firming. I think this is a result of the added bee venom in the product as well as hyaluronic acid which is brilliant for giving the skin an injection of hydration. The bee venom helps encourage the stimulation of elastin and collagen and that is what helps to keep the skin looking youthful and fresh.
I found that the BeeBee cream gave a lovely finish and felt so light on the skin. I didn’t worry about it melting off my face and my skin felt nicely hydrated after use too and I noticed a lovely glow. The added silk made my skin feel super soft and I just loved using this cream. It’s a real luxury skincare item and a perfect product for the summer months. I’ll be taking this on holiday with me next month as it has the added sun protection and will give my skin a gorgeous glow. It’s also going to come in handy when I’m back on the school runs and want coverage in the morning but may not have time for a full face of makeup.
