I am always looking for ways to improve my health and lose weight and at the moment I am trialing the NutriPlan Teatox. I started the Teatox today and have already have my morning cup of herbal tea. It’s recommended to have the tea before breakfast which I’ve done and to drink whilst still warm. I received a week trial for the purpose of this review which included seven morning tea bags and three bedtime tea bags which you have every other day. I’m planning on having my first one tonight before bed, then again on Wednesday and the last on Friday evening. The ingredients all look and sound natural and the packet describes the tea as being 100% natural which is a bonus for me!
I found the morning tea very pleasant and easy to drink. It’s naturally very sweet so no need to add any sugar or sweeteners which would probably take away from the fact that this is supposed to be a Teatox! I love a good cuppa whether that be herbal or English Breakfast and this tastes like a really nice cup making it a very easy drinking beverage. In colour the tea is a little on the red side and is very fruity. It reminds me a little of the raspberry leaf tea I had when pregnant although Raspberry doesn’t seem to feature in the ingredients.
Alongside drinking the tea I will be drinking 1.5-2litres of water per day and attempting to adopt a clean eating diet. I have changed quite a few things in my diet recently and I’m trying to look at the nutritional value of things a little more. I’m also trying to cut out artificial sweetener from my diet as I know it’s no good for my body. This is Day 12 of no Diet Coke which is a huge accomplishment for me and I feel all the better for it – so it made sense to add in the Teatox now whilst I’m making these changes.
I last weighed in on Friday as my scales are broken and was 18.12lb so it will be interesting to see the results at the end of the week and see if the Teatox has had a positive effect on my weight loss. I’ve done a little video below with more information on the ingredients.
Disclaimer: I received a week of Teatox for this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
