Because it’s Mothers Day

mothers day, hampers, gift hampers
A little picture of the hamper I made for my mum for this Mothers Day

I know a lot of different types of Mothers and each one of them is deserving of celebrating their family today. Whatever you’re doing to raise those beautiful babies, you’re doing a fantastic job. Especially to those that sadly no longer have their babies with them today, you are still a mother, you still deserve this day, you are amazing.

We spend so much time worrying and stressing or judging others choices and there’s really no point to it. All we’re doing in this world is trying to make our lives amazing and to create amazing memories with our loved ones and families.

The last few years for me have been a complete whirlwind. We are coming up to our third anniversary of living together in the flat as a family which is just lovely. This is my fifth Mothers Day although my daughter isn’t with me today, she’s with her dad and will be home later. I know some would be quite upset by this but I’m okay with it. I’m fortunate enough to be here for her every day and every evening so time together is not scarce. My mum is spending the day with her mum so I am taking the chance to catch up on some blogging work and exploring Bloodborne’s DLC which we’ve been waiting to get for quite a while. Combine that with galaxy milkshakes and a red thai curry and it’s a pretty great day in my book. Plus this evening when my little one is home we can cuddle up with hot chocolate and a film before bed.

So happy Mothers Day.

Keep Calm and Carry On Linking Sunday
