The (Late) Quiz of the New Year Tag

Thank you to Alice from Living with a Jude for tagging me in this post which again I am late. You know for someone that suffers with anxiety and would rather not turn up to something than be late I’m always late for these types of tag posts. I guess it’s still the very begining of the new year though so that’s okay isn’t it?

What was the highlight of 2016?

Oh gosh well we went on two holidays, both equally amazing. One to Disneyland Paris as our first family holiday abroad and a week long cruise to Norway just us adults. It rained in both places.

Name one thing you are most likely to remember about 2016 if asked in five years time?

See above. I will always remember our holidays. Nothing else that spectacular really happened last year.

Sum up 2016 in one word.

Interesting.

Name one pearl of wisdom from 2016 that you will carry with you through 2017.

If you’re not happy then make a change and see it through. This year I decided to really focus on my little space here and take it seriously which has actually seen me earn money. If you’ve got a talent for something or an idea then try your hardest to make it work.

Do you have any new year resolutions?

I have set both New Years Resolutions and Goals. My goals are actions and things I want to acheive, my new years resolutions are based on mindfullness.

How are you seeing in the new year?

Well…I was suffering with illness and was in bed around 10.30. I woke up at midnight though because a firework exploded in the car park and an ambulance was flashing the lights in my window. I was at home with Adam though and Evie came home on New Years Day.

What would you most like to do in 2017?

I am determined to make sure we go on holiday this year. I want to pay off some debt, earn more from working at home and write and publish an ebook. I’m really excited about the coming year.

What are your main goals for 2017?

My main goal is to lose eight stone so I’ve started a weekly vlog to hold myself accountable. I’ve not got off to the best start because I’m still not particularly well and actually considering visiting the doctors (this never happens) but I was ill a lot in 2016 and I think that’s down to my general health really. I am determined to have a healthy 2017 and prevent all the colds, coughs and viruses I’ve had this year.

    1. I really love holidays! Thank you! I’ve not been as active as I would have liked to be this week because I’ve been ill but I’ve really tried to make healthier eating choices 🙂
