This is a collaborative post.
Christmas is just under two months away now and I am really excited however I’m not really a fan of wrapping Christmas gifts – because I’m not very good at it! Over the years I’ve thought of lots of different packaging and wrapping methods to present my gifts. Over the years I have got a lot better but my wrapping still isn’t particularly neat and tidy. Often I use far too much paper and then end up having to buy more which can be really annoying. Buying gift boxes before gifts help to give you an idea of how much you can actually fit and hopefully will control your spending too. I wanted to share with you a few ideas for wrapping and gifting that you can use this Christmas too.
- Tin Packaging – tins come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. You can use them to make lovely open hampers, for makeup, for soaps and smellies, stationary and secret santa gifts. A nice tin will often be reused too for something. You will probably have some tins you can use yourself in the home right now which saves you going out and getting them.
- Gift Boxes – you can find lots of lovely gift boxes this time of year for all sorts of gifts. One thing I like to do if I’m getting stationary for example is buy a lovely big filing box and fill it with stationary of a similar theme. It doesn’t have to be the typical shiny holographic gift boxes there are so many options these days.
- Recycling – If you get a lot of subscription boxes, especially ones like Glossybox, the boxes are often styled and can make really lovely gift boxes too.
- Get things gift wrapped to save you time.
