Midweek Meals with Dolmio #ThankGoodness Challange – #Ad

We all love a good meal but sometimes inspiration can be a bit lacking, particularly in the middle of the week. We recently received a lovely box of goodies on behalf of Dolmio to take part in the #ThankGoodness challenge. I was absolutely amazed with the amount of food I received in this midweek shop and with two huge jars of Dolmio I started thinking about the tasty meals I could create.

Midweek Meal Dolmio Inspiration

Even though it’s two jars of bolognese sauce I felt I could actually use this to create a few different dishes. We are a family of three so I found spreading the jars out created four meals for us. I love the fact that the sauce is full of goodness and contained lots of veggies and is all natural. Using this sauce means I’m giving all the members of my family lots of goodness in their meals. One of my favourite midweek meals to make is a Thai Style Chicken and Coconut Soup which I forgot to take a photo of!

We made a tasty spaghetti bolognese with the shopping included making use of the mince, onions, spaghetti, sauce a few mushrooms and some shavings of fresh Parmesan cheese. In fact we all liked it so much we ended up having it twice!Midweek Meals with Dolmio, Recipes, Food Inspiration

Another midweek favourite of ours is a big hearty chilli with a tasty jacket potato and chedder cheese on top. We mixed a few spices like cumin, cayenne pepper and mild chilli powder to some Dolmio sauce along with onions, peppers and mushrooms. It was so filling!

The Dolmio sauce also makes a nice base for some super tasty chicken wraps with cheese and avocado. Perfect when you want something quick, filling and very yummy.

Chicken Wraps Midweek Meal Inspiration

Dolmio Bolognese Original 500g sauce is 100% natural. In each jar, you’ll find at least 10 juicy diced tomatoes, a dollop of tomato puree, half an onion, a tablespoon of sunflower oil, a couple of cloves of garlic, a handful of herbs including basil, a teaspoon of cornflour, a teaspoon of salt, a pinch of pepper, two teaspoons of added beet sugar for taste, a squeeze of lemon juice, a splash of water and nothing more.
