Everyone is getting ready for Christmas at the moment but next month also means it’s my birthday month and so I thought I would put together a my Birthday Wishlist 2016 featuring some of the items I’d really love on the day I turn twenty-eight. The only good thing about having a Birthday five days after Christmas is that lots of places have a half price sale so I can treat myself to lots of really lovely gift sets which usually last me absolutely ages. I’ve also been saving up my Swagbucks vouchers and gift cards so I can get a few extra treats!
A pair of Doc Martens. I’m not sure if I want Pink or Purple as they both look gorgeous but I’m feeling pink would fit in more with the Candyfloss theme that is me. A pair of thick socks to go with these would be great too. I’m not sure on sizing but I’m a size 5. I think, perhaps, a 5.5 would be best, but there’s not many shoes where I have to buy a size bigger. I do a lot of walking and it would be really helpful to have a pair of all weather walking boots.
I have a list of books as long as my arm that I want so either a Kindle voucher or a hard copy of any of these would be just amazing. A big suprise for me is that there’s a lot of Non-Fiction but after seeing some of these women speak at Blogfest16 I really want to know more about them and further the inspiration they’ve given me. Particularly Hurrah for Gin and The Ummumsy Mum who both started out with a blog.
I really do like building up my makeup collection – although I feel I need to sort it out and get rid of the stuff I don’t like. My favourite brand this year has been Makeup Revolution who have got some really lovely gift sets online. I also enjoy browsing their range in Superdrug so I’ll be on the look out for some bargains. Another must have beauty essential is the amazing PureDerm exfoliating foot socks. They help get rid of any dry skin and work so well.
I am never able to buy myself perfume but if I had a choice it would be my absolute favourite Diesel Fuel for Life Eau de Parfum. It’s a gorgeous smelling perfume that I can’t quite describe but it’s always been my favourite, despite trying others over the years. I can never replace this scent.
As my birthday is so close to the new year and I always want items that will help me live a healthier lifestyle. I have always wanted a Nutribullet but it’s a little on the expensive side however a good alternative would be this Breville Blender.
I think that’s a pretty good summary of the gifts I’d absolutely love to receive and I’m sure I’ll be showcasing the bargains I find on my social media. Whatever happens I know I’ll have a very happy birthday with loved ones.
