Who Needs Christmas Gift Ideas for 2019? – This Post Contains Affiliate Links & #Ad content & #Gifted products.
I have written up a guide to help you make the most of Christmas and get the best gifts for every member of the family.
Firstly, have you joined Swagbucks? I use it every year to help me make more money for Christmas through cashback shopping, surveys and offers. I get most of my points now from shopping online but I also get a few from surveys and offers. I’ve earned around £500 in vouchers over the last three years now and having an extra £50 or even £100 for Christmas in Amazon vouchers has been amazing at helping us to budget. Electronic gift cards and vouchers are a good eco choice too as they can be sent via email, saving the card and plastic and can be used for online purchases in things like Amazon Fire store, App store and Google Play.
I’ve also written up the Ultimate Guide to Planning Christmas which has everything you need to know and everything we do for inspiration from festive traditions, toy reviews, Christmas menus and more. I hope this guide helps you get the best Christmas gifts for your friends and family.
Gifts For Adults & Parents
There are loads of fantastic planners out there. I’ve used quite a few myself. I personally love the Daily Greatness journal. They have different versions available for different outcomes. They focus on Yoga, Business, Wellness, Fitness and of course the original Daily Greatness journal. It’s all about making each day great, improving mental wellbeing and gratitude. =. This year I am also loving The Girls Mean Business Marketing planner for those in business and I have my eye on The Positive Planner too!
I love a good set of PJ’s to wrap up in on Christmas Eve tucked into our own Christmas Eve box. I personally love the range from George at Asda. There are so many great choices available from cooling shorts, silks and cozy fleece. This year I particularly love the matching family set of Christmas PJ’s! We will be wearing ours throughout December and I hope I can get a decent picture of us all wearing them!
Family Photos & Canvas Prints
We were gifted this lovely print of my two favourite boys. The canvas is huge and it looks perfect, exactly what I wanted. We went out on a little autumnal photo shoot and I wanted a picture of Adam and Felix together. I then sent off the photo to be printed onto Canvas and this arrived a few days later. There are loads of sizes available and I was really impressed with the quality of the print and speed of delivery. The photo was taken on an iPhone 8+ using portrait mode and I slightly edited it on my phone before emailing the photo over (this product was kindly gifted for this feature) and a few days later the print arrived. Our canvas is a 16×16 sqaure print which is available for £24.99 We got our Canvas from Parot Print
If you’re looking for something really special then I personally really recommend Charlotte Tilbury beauty range for amazing quality products that come in a beautiful gift box. I first tried Charlotte Tilbury products last year with the Charlotte Tilbury advent calendar – a great way to try a selection of high range, amazing makeup.
I also really recommend Tarte Cosmetics. They have an amazing selection of lovely vegan products amongst their range, quirky packaging and their products are really high quality.
I am a huge fan of TiGi Hair Care products! The huge 750ml bottles are fantastic gifts as they last for absolutely ages, smell good, feel lovely on the hair and are nourishing.
Beauty Subscription Box
I’ve written an extensive list of all my favourite subscription services but Glossybox remains one of my firm favourites and these can be bought as gifts. You can buy then as a one off or a three, six or twelve-month subscription. A perfect way to gift a loved one that loves beauty and skincare products and keeps them enjoying their gift for a few months after Christmas too. Signing up to Glossybox will get you 20% off and there’s a chance to earn cashback to spend at LookFantastic too which is fabulous. You can use the referral code KAYLEIGH-R3U for a discount!
Bath Stuff and Skincare
I’ve been loving my body shop products for Skincare in the last six or so months. The shea butter body moisturiser is my absolute favourite because it smells amazing and leaves skin feeling super soft. They have plenty of offers and gift sets in time for Christmas and asking in store for recommendations always helps. A great amount of Body Shop products are Vegan friendly too. My favourite for bath bits though is of course Lush. They have so many amazing gorgeous gift sets perfect for Christmas.
Wax Melts and Burner
I love home fragrance and wax melts are a real favourite of mine because the scent lasts such a long time. There are some fantastic Soy wax melts available too which I think last a bit longer than regular wax melts and candles. I love fresh scented ones or any that are Christmassy. Vanilla scents are my absolute favourite. Yankee Candle have an amazing range of Wax Melts.
Paladone have an amazing range of gifts and gadgets suitable for all skills and abilities. The Discovery Channel Smartphone Telescope is a great buy and is also available to buy on amazon. The lens clips onto the phone and it comes with a handy little tripod with an awesome zoom. A great chance to see the stars on a clear night. The 10x optical zoom clip on lens is perfect and fits across most smartphones. The Tripod is fantastic for keeping the phone stable.
Dell 1908FP 19″ LCD Monitor

I usually find the best deals and range in superstores like Asda. Adam really likes the Bulldog range and Old Spice Original for body spray and shower gel. I also really recommend Westlab Bath Salts for a relaxing, spa quality bath and to soothe aching muscles. These bath salts are fragrance free although there is the option to get some with essential oils. They’re perfect for active and sporty types as they really help relax the muscles and soothe any tension or strains. They’re great for parents too after a long day of chasing a toddler around!
BeerHawk have an amazing selection of Christmas gifts from boxes of bottles, cans, craft beer and an advent calendar. You can also buy bottles on an individual basis. They currently have a £10 off offer if you sign up to their newsletter.
We had a recent shopping trip to Basingstoke which resulted in us buying Cards Against Humanity which is a really funny and pretty offensive game. We found it in the store MenKind but it’s also available on Amazon for £20. We have also found What Do You Meme? to be highly amusing.
Christmas Gift Ideas for Children
Inflatable Star Wars R2D2
We received an inflatable remote-controlled R2-D2 which we’ve been having a lot of fun with jetting around the flat. It’s comes combined together in a box, is easy to store thanks to it’s ability to inflate and deflate quickly. We received this with thanks to Bladez Toys who have an amazing range of these inflatable star wars characters including a Storm Trooper, Kylo Ren and jumbo sized BB8 too.
When in Rome Game
For those that have an Amazon Echo or Echo Dot, When in Rome can be played with Alexa and it’s a fantastic around the world game for the family to play. We absolutely love it!
Snuggle Buddies Unicorn
We absolutely love this gorgeous soft and fluffy snuggle buddy. Her name is Misty the Unicorn. Evie absolutely loves soft toys so I knew this would be a big hit. It’s so cute, so soft and a really lovely soft toy that any Unicorn lover would love to unwrap this Christmas. The plush material soft toy is 30cm in size.
If you fancy something different then you might want to consider the Adorable Alpacas!
Furby Connect is still a favourite for us too! It links up to a fun app and we have loved introducing him to Felix this year! He’s cute, fluffy and super interactive.
Jungle Jam is a fantastic book for pre-schoolers and those learning to read with a focus on music. It’s a lovely picture book for children and shows them a huge range of different instruments. My daughter has really enjoyed this story and is really giving it a go by reading it herself. The book is aimed at up to five years however, if like me, you have a slightly older child that wants to read themselves then this is a fun book for them to do so.
Message in a Bottle is a very special book indeed with a personalised message for every child. The book follows the story of Kiki who has a message to deliver and she travels all over the world to get there. It’s a fantastic adventure story that my daughter absolutely loves and with a personal touch it becomes a real keepsake for the family.
A schnook is a super cute soft toy that comes in a little bubble. There are several to collect and they come with a mix of hair accessories. When you open the bubble they’re kept in you get to have a lot of fun shaking them out to size which makes their hair go a little crazy. Evie absolutely loves styling the hair, brushing it through and I think this would make an excellent stocking filler. You can grab yourself a Schnool from Amazon for just £7.99 so it’s a fantastic price for a really cute little toy that any budding stylists would absolutely love.
Fuzzikins Colour in Pizzeria
Fuzzikins from Interplay is something Evie has loved for years now having a chance to play with such a huge variety of products which I love. TX-30 comes in 3 unique, funky colours, perfect for music or gaming lovers to use on any device. It’s available in pink, blue or green here https://www.argos.co.uk/search/tx%252D30/ TX-40 is the ultimate companion for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch. It’s also ideal for music lovers, delivering stunning, crystal clear sound. We have the TX-30 in Pink and Evie uses them on my old iPhone when watching YouTube Kids and playing with apps. The jack connector is universal so this will work on her brand new tablet from Father Christmas too. Evie says the headphones are confortable and there is no sound interference so we can’t actually hear them when she’s using them – we could with her old ones and it got a bit annoying so I’m glad she has a pair of decent headphones now!
Stationary Stocking Fillers from Stabilo
Stabilo are a bit of a household name when it comes to stationary products. They have a great range of cool stocking fillers for stationary loving kids. I am absolutely loving the metallic fine liners which I will be using throughout my planners in 2020. The Christmas inspired Multi-talented stabilo 3-1 woody creative crayons can be used on Wood and Glass so I’m sure Evie and Felix will love using these. The highlighters are great for any University student like Adam who is frantically highlight all of the texts for his assignments coming up and the roll up of fine liners has a lovely range of colours. I really love the Stabilo fine liners, they seem to be one of my absolute go-tos.

My daughter absolutely loves drawing and getting creative so this 250 piece case is perfect for her. It’s full of colouring pens, pencils, chalk and paints and will make a budding artist very happy this Christmas!
Lucky Fortune charm bracelets from Wowee have been another fab gift for Evie this year. She loves collecting them and sharing with her friends. You crack the Lucky Fortune open to see what the future has in store for you. I love that each little goody comes with a little fortune and the charms are stunning too.

There are 100 different bracelets to collect, with four levels of rarity, aswell as a coveted Ultra Lucky real gold-dipped four-leaf clover. These Bento Boxes are perfect for creating fun pick and mix asian meals or something a little different if you fancy it! I love the red on black look and thankfully Adam and I have one each for our next at-home chinese! There are spots for dipping sauces and a range of different sized dishes depending on what you’re having. I love the look of them, I think they’re really stylish as well as a quirky approach to serving dinner.
The Summerton Club
An exclusive club for Whiskey loves. Signing up takes no time at all and each month you will get an exclusive and unique bottle of Whiskey that you won’t find on the high street. Our first bottle came just after the birth of Felix which was quite lovely as we had a reason to celebrate and Adam will be enjoying it in his new personalised Whiskey tumbler – although that’s a gift I’ve wrapped!
Gift Ideas for the Home
If you’re looking for some artwork then I highly recommend Sarah Taylor and her prints. She has a fantastic collection of absolutely stunning prints. We have The Monarch who is sitting very proudly on my desk. There are plenty of colours in the prints and lots of beautiful animals. The style is just stunning and would fit in any home this Christmas.
Why not grab some beautiful Christmas Flowers for loved ones or for the home over the festive season? I received these beautiful Christmas Red Roses from Prestige Flowers with a box of delicious chocolate truffles. Flowers are a lovely gift to give and the bouquet I received came with a beautiful glass vase and was wrapped so nicely. Flowers typically arrive the next working day and there are plenty of options to make them into a gift with extras, like the chocolates.
