Like so many others, when I wanted to consider a flooring option for my home I browsed online to find something suitable.
I had considered real hardwood flooring as I felt that would be the solid and long-lasting choice moving forward. As I looked into the disadvantages, I was drawn to a choice I had not considered. That was to perfectly replicate hardwood flooring with luxury wood effect vinyl flooring and not suffer the perils that are quite common with the real; alternative.
The Brand Name
Everywhere I looked when I began searching for a vinyl option there was one name that stood very high above the rest; Amtico.
Amtico was a brand that was very highly recommended by influencers and installation specialists in all kinds of fields and through many types of homeowners and businesses that had used them for decades. Amtico are still the leading brand despite many others on the marketplace, and upon browsing their collections, from Amtico Spacia stones to Abstract options, I found the style within their Signature woods collection.
The Price
I was not expecting the flooring to come in cheap in comparison to the real thing, figuring that the many extra benefits that vinyl flooring offered up would add on some extra pounds.
With all that scratch resistance, moisture proofing and comfort layers implemented I was sure it would cost a pretty penny or two, but i was surprised to find the cheapest amtico flooring uk turned out to be between £20-£90 per square meter and around £15 per square meter if my floor was already levelled! The only difference in pricing rested on the quality and design that I had to choose from.
Other Benefits
As I previously mentioned the qualities that Amtico brought to the table, or in this case floor, far outweighed those of a hardwood floor.
By having the best waterproof properties, I was comforted to know that water would not seep through any gaps into my underfloor and cause any rotting over time. Instead, any puddles of water could be cleared up straight away with no threat of damage like a real floor would face. Even the lowest price Amtico flooring didn’t give way to quality and provided its fair share of security when it came to the odd tipple of drink and food, leaving my floor with no discoloration, no permanent staining and not a single scratch left as a scar.
I found myself with a genuine looking floor which is easy to maintain, comfy to walk on and most importantly has saved me a lot in terms of money and time cleaning. I am among the many who chose to explore Amtico and it’s amazing contribution to making my house complete.
