Goodbye May, Hello June! How fast is this year going? May was a really lovely month for us and we got up to lots of fun and exciting things. It started off with Adam’s Birthday and a meal at Pizza Express. We saw a few new films and have been loving the new season of Game of Thrones! Mini Kat had her last half term of the year, six weeks of school left for her before the Summer holidays and then onto Year One! She has really enjoyed her first year of school and has made some lovely new friends.
I’ve been a part of a new Instagram community for the last few weeks with a group of other bloggers and I’ve had a lot of fun interacting with other bloggers and following new accounts. I didn’t meet my follow targets for Instagram or Twitter but I do now have 800+ followers on both accounts and growing. If you’d like to follow me on either platform please do…I am still working on using them correctly.
The last week or so of May was pretty quiet on the blogging front and I think it’s because I got a little overwhelmed with all the amazing new things I’ve got planned so I needed to take a bit of time out but as you can see it’s been business as usual for the last week. I’ve had some amazing new products to trial and I’ve loved it. Now it’s June I can also say that I’ve had a self hosted blog for over one month, very exciting and I’m loving the new look and it’s only two months until my Norway cruise! I really can’t wait!
I took the plunge and started doing some Facebook Live videos. I’m finding them easier than recording and uploading for YouTube so if you are interested in some question and answers, live demos, chats and live reviews then please feel free to add me or follow my page. I’m going to try and do some live videos from my page which are more blog related so feel free to join in!
So what have I been loving in the month of May? Well I’ve started using a bullet journal! It’s all very rough but I had a play around in an old notebook for the month and then I went all guns blazing and bought a host of new stationary for my bullet journal. This is to help me plan better and keep track of things better.
I received two lovely drinks from Hampstead Tea and they were both rather lovely. My favourite of the two samples I was sent was the Raspberry and Green Iced Tea. It was just sweet enough and really refreshing. I think it looked great in my mason jar glass too. They have a great range of flavours and priced at £1.69 are a great price. I received this two samples in exchange for a feature on my blog and my opinions remain my own. They taste great, the packaging is attractive and it’s organic, what more could you want?
During May I started attending Aqua Fit on a regular basis and I have loved it. It was so much fun and I’m looking forward to getting back into it now half term has finished.
I was thrilled to find Final Fantasy 7 was available to buy on the PS4 store for £12.99! I love that game so much and I’ve cracked up a few hours on there replaying it again and enjoying the story. It’s got me really excited for the remake and the new Final Fantasy game which is out in September.
What did you get up to in May? Have you got much coming up in June?
