Have you ever been into crazes? Ours I have to say have mostly been Pokemon related but there are times when something sneaks up under the radar and you get a bit obsessed with it. Adam, finds a lot of unusual things on the internet and is usually ahead of these crazes. I was speaking to him about Mokuru and he already knew what it was so I was pretty happy to be given the chance to review one and offer a giveaway to my readers. Mokuru is the latest finger flipping craze direct from Japan. It’s a pocket size wooden desk toy that was originally designed to help test an individual’s balance and focus but for so many it’s become quite a lot more than that. For the best part of a week I’ve watched Adam try and flip the Mokuru toy in all of the different ways he possibly can. It has gotten a little addictive!
I think these little handheld wooden toys are ideal for those that need to fidget with their hands. It’s something that helps improve concentration for particular types of learners although I’m not sure this would be good in a class room scenario as it’s made of wood it can be a bit loud as it flips over and hits the table. It’s a bit of fun too and good if you need a moment away from work just to focus on something else. They come in a huge variety of colours and I am giving my readers the chance to win one of two Mokuru desk toys with the rafflecopter below.
Disclaimer: We received a Mokuru Desk Toy for the purpose of this review and giveaway. All opinions remain my own.
