Why I’ve Started to Vlog

I’ve been thinking about Vlogging for a while mainly because I want to try and challenge myself and do something a little more out of my depth…let’s face it actually it’s completely out of my depth! But I thought why not! I want to get myself out there more and increase my self-confidence a little bit and I really think this will help. I’ve recently been watching a lot of other vloggers on YouTube to see what they do and say and to just get a bit of a feel for how I want my voice to come across…not literally, I can’t change my voice, but I’m sure you know what I mean.

In terms of goals I really want to be able to show you a bit more of what we do as a family. Especially the trips that we go on. I know travel tips and videos are some of the things I watch a lot of and I’d love to be able to answer some of my own questions to those travelling to the same places as me.

I’ve also been lucky enough to be a part of some incredible review opportunities lately thanks to the hard work I put into my blog which I am so grateful for however it means that my blog is being taken up with a lot of reviews and I want to try and balance that a little bit by doing some video reviews instead.

Anyway, I would absolutely love it if you could jump on over to my YouTube channel and subscribe. My followers have given me so much love and support, especially in the last few months and it would mean the world to me if you could continue that love over on my channel.

  6. Wow, you’ve been through so much, I’m so pleased that you are happy and settled now. I also love your hair…of course! I think you’ll be a fab vlogger. Being on camera is really hard isn’t it? I’ve done some vlogging for kids and it’s much easier to imagine I’m talking directly to them. I’m not sure I’d be as good talking to adults!! Thanks so much for linking up with us! #bigpinklink

    1. Aw thank you so much! I’ve had all my hair chopped off since this haha but the pink remains…sort off! I’m hoping to do a monthly favourites video to give me something to do each month and also a film review “series” called thoughts on film for films we see, as we go to the cinema fairly regularly and a nice way of reviewing them rather than writing all the time!

Well done you for giving it a go! It is so scary sitting in front of a camera for the first time can’t it?!?!? I also get what you mean about not having an audience. I’d hate my hubby to be sat there watching me! Good luck, I’m sure you will be fab! #bloggerclubuk xx
