Do you have any statement tshirts or any independent art on your clothing? I’ve received a few this year and have loved wearing them especially because the art is pretty unique. Some have been from unique or special editions and have celebrated the work of independent artists so I know it’s something a little different. Tshirts are a staple in pretty much anyone’s wardrobe but I think they look particularly good if they have some sort of statement or have unique art on them. Statement Tshirts
There are a great range of cool statment womens tshirts available. I personally love these because you can create a whole mood without having to speak. If you’re feeling positive the type of ‘good vibes’ message looks great, is clean cut and simple. It really makes me think of holiday and casual wear, or just doing something or being somewhere that makes you feel good. I personally absolutely live for snarky and political statement tshirts. I adore the ‘i hate it here’ tshirt with the eye roll because it is how I feel about a multitude of social situations. It would be my go to tshirt for anytime that I have to go outside. I love the art. For those that do like a more uplifting quote or style there are plenty of motivational girl boss style art designs to choose from too.
Another design I love is the ‘five more minutes’ tshirt which, as a mum, I can totally relate to. Five more minutes of peace, of sleep, of time alone…it’s a statement I think many mums could get on board with and nod their heads in agreement if they saw someone else wearing that design out and about.
How to style statement tshirts
The great thing about statement tshirts, I think, is that they are really easy to style. Also, if you’re a fan of a capsule wardrobe you really only need maybe two or three statement tshirts to give you a few options and, as I said, they can create a whole mood. Long gone are the days where tshirts are just casual wear, you can style them in so many different ways. I love a clean, simple statement grey tshirt tucked into high waist black trousers and a sharp cutting jacket or blazer. This is safe for work approach that is comfortable and smart.
It is no doubt that tshirts look great with jeans. One of my go to outfits, particularly in colder weather, is a bolder, snarky or political statement tshirt with high waist black ripped jeans, boots and a long cardigan. This is what I have been living in for the past couple months because it’s exactly my style, comfortable and casual enough. The great thing with using a site that partners independent artists with tshirts is getting something to my almost exacting personal tastes.
For the summer, or any warmer weather, a colourful tshirt tucked into a maxi or mini skirt, whatever makes you feel comfortable, with strappy shoes and a chunky necklace is a little boho-chic maybe if thats your thing. If it’s a little chilly out there it can be partnered with a jean jacket. There are a couple of crows and raven animal art prints tshirts available which I would love and would be my go to aside from the statement tshirt designs.

I love that this is an option aside from normal clothing stores because no matter what I want I never get it exactly right for my style when shopping on the high street. I like things with a bit of an indivdual or unique approach and I think that’s exactly what you get when you combine independent artists with clothing.

Because of the variety of independent artists I think it would be really easy to find something that perfectly summed up your individual style and tastes.
