family holiday to cornwall

Our Next Family Holiday Destination…

Our summer holiday for 2017 is finally booked! We will be spending a week living in The Lizard and exploring Cornwall. We have had some great holidays together as a family and I think January is the perfect time to book something to look forward to. We’ve experienced a five day break on the Isle of Wight in a cosy caravan, an overnight sleeper service to Edinburgh and seen so many attractions and tours in London. I absolutely love going on holiday, seeing different parts of the country and going abroad. It’s my favourite thing to spend money on, and I look forward to our holidays so much.

Time together as a family is so precious. Last year we had an amazing holiday in Disneyland Paris which just made me think this is what I want every year. Fun filled holidays, making memories and experiencing new environments. Disneyland was really full on and our Norway cruise was the perfect way to relax and indulge. Cruising is my ideal way to see other parts of the world as it’s just so easy. This year our first holiday is booked and I’m officially on planning and countdown mode.

We are going to be spending a week with Park Dean Resorts at their Mullion holiday park in July. which is still six months away but we have a lot going on in those six months that I am hoping they will fly by. We decided on a holiday park this year because we wanted a summer holiday and we wanted to go to Cornwall. It just so happened that at the time of booking they had a really great price on their caravans and we knew if we didn’t book we would be gutted and forced to pay a lot more.

I’ve never been to Cornwall but Adam has quite a few times and absolutely loves it. He’s already made lots of suggestions of places to visit so I know we’re going to have a busy week. Going at the end of term will mean Evie will have the opportunity to burn off some stream from the last few weeks of school and it’s given us all something to really get excited about.

It is certainly giving me some focus to get healthier and keep up with my weekly vlogs so that I am a better editor when it comes to filming our holiday. I’m already really excited and trust me when I have a holiday booked I am constantly excited about it. Sometimes it leads to really high expectations which so far have never been let down! I’ve been told so many times how beautiful Cornwall is so I know I’m going to love it. Even if the weather isn’t shining.

Have you booked a holiday for 2017? Where are you off to?
