Our Family Travel in Pictures

We are a family that love to travel! Over the years my little family has had the chance to visit some great destinations and I wanted to sum those all up with some photos.

We had a day around Paris to show Mini kat a few sites and had lunch in a bistro outside Notre Dame.

We loved our break to Disneyland Paris in February!

We always like to make an effort to see the Christmas light switch on and fireworks in our town

Adam and I spent our last anniversary in Bruges on a mini cruise. This brewery had the best beer!

Mini kats  birthday was spent glamping at Warwick castle. They gave her a lovely birthday girl balloon.

Last summer we stayed in Blackpool for a week visiting my sister. It was really hot that week and we had a lot of fun exploring – we really loved the zoo!

Every year we try and attend the town parade and festival. Mini Kat loves to get her face painted

Weymouth is probably my favourite beach, it’s not too far from us either.

Plenty of time at the park!

I took my mum to the ritz for her 50th last year and we had afternoon tea with the family. It was an amazing experience.

Another beach! This was on a trip to Devon, we went over to Cornwall for the day.

Stopping over for the night in Portsmouth and going up the spinnaker tower.

Visiting the Roman Baths in Bath

Shanklin Chine, are our first family holiday on the Isle of Wight

We did a mammoth walk on the Isle of Wight along the coast to the zoo.

We walk plenty of places, it’s the cheapest way to travel!

The Harry Potter studios in London. What a great day out, it was my sisters 21st birthday gift.

We love theme parks! Mini Kat does love Legoland a lot, especially learning to drive.

Mine and Adams trip to Edinburgh to celebrate his 23rd birthday. We traveled by megabus…which was hard, but the trip itself was really lovely.

We will travel anywhere for afternoon tea! This was in Dartmouth.

A day out in Bristol! We had a boat cruise along the river and ate in za za bazaar.

We love to travel to London, it’s so close to us! One of our first weekends away as a couple was in London. It was great fun.

We love a cheeky nandos!

As much as we love to travel, we like to take a bit of time to cuddle up together at home!

An old one of mini Kat in our favourite cafe!

We have a local farm park which is a great deal of fun with lots of soft play and animal encounters.

We are so close to the Hawk Conservancy trust! I love it! The flying displays are amazing and they have loads of events throughout the year. I love Troy the owl.

Evie’s first adventure after I became a single parent was spending the day at peppa pig world…paultons park! A place I loved to visit as a child!

We haven’t been everywhere but we are getting there! I’m glad I can show my daughter parts of the U.K. And the world as we grow up. We are planning on taking her on the next cruise we book, just a short one again to see what she is like on the boat. But we are a family that love to travel and explore!

Do you have any travel plans this summer?

  1. Lovely pictures and you have such cute kid!

  2. This is great way to recap the places that you have travelled too. From looking at all your great pictures you have been to so many places. I think it’s really important that you can take time to travel together as a family, providing your daughter with new experiences that she may not normally get at home. I hope that you do get to go on a mini cruise, and provide your daughter an opportunity to explore different cultures, food, and people. I look forward to hearing more about your adventures. Thanks so much for linking up this week at #fortheloveofBLOG. Claire x
