Candyfloss & Dreams (https://candyflossdreams.net) is a family lifestyle blog. I, Kayleigh Woodland, am the registered owner of the domain and editor of the blog content. You can contact me with any issues at [email protected] if you have any concerns about how I collect, store and use data collected on this blog. I aim to act compliantly whilst collecting data on this blog.
Candyfloss & Dreams currently have no email subscription service. Should this change in the future I will provide my subscribers with a double opt-in, which will provide you with information on content you might receive from me such as newsletters. Data collected will usually be an email address and first name. This is so I can personalise emails with your name and ensure they are sent to the correct address.
As a WordPress blog, You have the option to ‘Follow’ me on WordPress. This generates blog posts being sent to your email address. You can always unsubscribe through your emails or unfollow me using your WordPress account.
My blog is monetised which means I sometimes earn money for the posts I write. I will disclose this as a ‘Collaborative Post’ as I am working in partnership with a brand. Social media content may be labelled as #Ad #Sponsored if I have been paid to promote the post.
I sometimes review products. Product reviews in which I have received a product in exchange for a feature on my blog will feature a disclosure at the end of the post in bold. This will clearly state that I received the product on my blog.

I do sometimes hold competitions and giveaways on this blog. Entering a competition will require you providing your email address or a social media account so that I can contact you if you have won. To ensure your prize is delivered I may ask for an address and I will ask for written permission for this to be passed on to a third party such as a brand or PR Agency who will organise delivery of this prize. Address data will never be stored.
I love reading comments on social media however at your request I will always delete any comments or messages that you no longer want me to have access to. Site Back Ups
I back up my site using Updraft Plus once a fortnight. I back up my site to protect my content in the case of it being lost or a security breach.
These back ups stored securely and previous back ups are deleted as soon as the current back up has finished processing.
